Young Blood Coffee opened their doors last week at 623 NP Ave in Fargo and we were there. Well…not in person, but our scones were there…and will be each day for your enjoyment with their amazing coffee and tea products. Tim and Elisha Griffin (read more about them here) recently launched their new venture after years in the coffee biz on the west coast.

We had a chance to sit and enjoy a cup (a latte for me and a mocha for Chris) this morning after we delivered a still-hot, freshly baked batch of scones to them this morning.

I get a distinctly European vibe from the shop with its nearly all-white decor and modern minimalist seating. Rock music accompanied our Sunday paper perusal and “to do” list making.

Tim and Elisha’s approach to coffee and tea is similar to the way we approach our food. Producing handcrafted products using quality ingredients is of utmost importance.

Young Blood is currently featuring our Fig and Brie, Apple Cinnamon, Maple Oat Pecan, Raspberry White Chocolate, and Cranberry Orange scones in a rotation over the course of the week, but will surely be adding some of our other varieties as their business grows. And now that we’ve had the opportunity to sit and really enjoy their coffee and the atmosphere of their shop, we are sure that the business will definitely be growing.

Follow their adventures on Instagram @yngbldcoffee and stop in soon to taste their fantastic beverages, and perhaps, a scone or two to pair with it. Young Blood Coffee is open 7am-3pm Monday through Friday and 8am-3pm Saturday and Sunday.

If you’re looking for breakfast pastries, afternoon treats, or any of our many offerings, both savory and sweet, we would love to hear from you. We are a licensed wholesale bakery (we also cater) serving the greater Fargo and West Central MN area. We are well-known for our scones, but our products run the gamete from homemade granola clusters, to Danish pastries, to breads and rolls and old-fashioned items that your Grandma (or Great Grandma) used to make.
